Howard County police arrested three men in connection to the May 8 armed robbery at Roma's Pizza and Subs restaurant in Ellicott City.
Jeffrey Daniel Holemo, 28, of Woodlawn, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, use of a firearm in a felony, conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony, theft and conspiracy to commit theft. Andrew Baxter Kendall, 25, of Baltimore, and Justin Ray Shouman, 26, of Catonsville, were both charged with robbery, armed robbery, the use of a firearm in a felony and theft.
According to police, two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the restaurant in the 10100 block of Baltimore National Pike around 9:06 p.m. on May 8. They approached an employee and demanded money. The employee then ran away, while the men stole a phone and left with a third man who was waiting nearby.
Multiple witnesses reported the robbery, police said, and no injuries were reported. With assistance from the Baltimore County Police Department, detectives identified the men after they were arrested for similar, but unrelated, crimes. The three men are being held in Baltimore County.
