The Howard County Board of Education is scheduled to open a new middle school next year in Hanover. In order to do that, students must be redistricted into the new facility.
Below is a list of final recommendations for student redistricting made to the board, subject to several work sessions, public hearings and the board's approval:
• Bonnie Branch to Mayfield Woods: 106 students
• Bonnie Branch to Elkridge Landing: 65 students
• Elkridge Landing to New Middle School: 155 students
• Hammond to Lime Kiln: 72 students
• Mayfield Woods to Bonnie Branch: 40 students
• Mayfield Woods to New Middle School: 205 students
• Murray Hill to Patuxent Valley: 247 students
• Patuxent Valley to Hammond: 92 students
• Patuxent Valley to Lake Elkhorn: 42 students
• Patuxent Valley to New Middle School: 153 students
