Howard County police arrested a man Sunday in conjunction with a robbery last week at the PNC bank in Woodbine.
Francis James Tugwell, 43, of no fixed address, was charged with armed robbery, robbery and theft.
According to police, Tugwell entered the bank around 11:20 a.m May 6, gave a note to the teller and implied he had a gun. When he demanded money, the teller complied, police said, and Tugwell left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said Tugwell was arrested May 10 in Carroll County and is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on $150,000 bond.
