Howard Police seek assistance in locating suspect in groping incident

Howard County Police are asking for the public's help to find 22-year-old Osman Geovany Martinez-Gonzales, who is wanted in connection with a groping incident that occurred on March 24 in Columbia.

According to a police news release, Martinez-Gonzales has been charged with fourth-degree sex offense. Police believe he was last staying at a residence on Talisman Lane in Columbia, but have not been able to locate him.

On March 24, police were called to the 7500 block of Sea Change in Columbia around 8:17 p.m. for a report that a man had followed a woman from the Owen Brown Village Center on Cradlerock Way and touched her inappropriately. The suspect fled and the woman called police.

Through their investigation, officers identified Martinez-Gonzales as a suspect and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
