Courtney Watson is a good friend to Ellicott City [Letter]

Don't get me wrong, I like Allan Kittleman personally, but if we let him establish a Republican administration in Howard County, our economy and our top-rated services like education, libraries, and parks, will be jeopardized, as the current Republican ideology eschews any responsibility for services or infrastructure.

On the other hand, Courtney Watson has performed her laudable public service during the progressive and very successful Robey and Ulman administrations, being integral to the myriad achievements which have bolstered our award-winning, nationally and internationally recognized, superior services.

Ms. Watson, personally, has developed a commendable, accessible approach to constituent service, visiting Main Street merchants and returning residents' calls, addressing all queries. With Ken Ulman, Courtney Watson established a program of town meetings in Ellicott City, providing opportunities for community input, and attended those meetings. She has cultivated a remarkably well-informed representative voice on all matters regarding Ellicott City, and has also been particularly instrumental on Downtown Columbia, and school issues, all of which establish her as the most completely and holistically prepared candidate for County Executive.
