Mt. Hebron field hockey notches shutout victory over Howard

Mt. Hebron's 5-0 victory over Howard on Wednesday keeps the Vikings in the thick of the county title race. With two county games left in the season, Mt. Hebron and Glenelg are tied with 8-1 county records.

Katie Anderson had a hat trick in the victory over Howard. Molly Bishop and Lauren Schaaf also scored.

Howard goalkeeper Allison Jakubek had seven saves.

A day after losing to Seton Keough in overtime, Glenelg Country School bounced back to beat John Carroll in an IAAM B Conference game. John Carroll tested Glenelg Country goalie Kelly Johnson, but she made 18 saves to maintain the shutout.
