For Marriotts Ridge, the undefeated beat goes on. The Mustangs took on Howard Tuesday at Waverly Woods and cruised to victories in both the boys and girls matches.

The girls were led by Rachel Lee (25 points) on the way to a 73-16 win over the Lions, while the boys got a match-high 28 points from Bennett Buch in a 101-44 decision. Both teams are now 9-0 on the season.

Lee finished with seven pars and two bogies, setting the pace for a team effort that saw all four girls finish in double figures. Marissa Davey, who birdied No. 2, and Katelyn McIlvain backed Lee up with rounds of 19 points apiece. Meg Quinn rounded out the scoring with 10 points.

Howard was led by Harper Lurie's 10 points in the loss.

The boys score of 101 points marked the second time this fall that they have gone over 100 points. Buch made eight pars and one birdie (No. 8) on his way to his one-under-par total.

Behind him, Nick Mejia (26 points), John Syzmanski (26) and Jackson Courtney (21) all had strong days. Syzmanski had the most birdies on the day, making three (Nos. 1, 2 and 5).

Howard (6-3), which was playing with just three guys, was led by Sean Higgins' 16 points.
