A pair of goals by senior Lauren Smith helped Glenelg Country School pull away from a scoreless halftime tie to beat visiting Institute of Notre Dame, 3-0, on Wednesday.
Smith's first goal came with 28:41 on the clock. She netted her second goal 2 minutes later.
After receiving the ball at the 25-yard line, freshman midfielder Alyssa Arnold took the IND goalkeeper 1v1 to score the Dragons' third goal.
It was the second shutout in as many games for Glenelg Country, which held a 19-4 advantage on offensive penalty corners and a 22-3 advantage on shots on goal.
The Dragons' Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference game is Friday at Maryvale.
