Howard County officials will be on hand to answer practical questions about the Affordable Care Act in two public forums – one scheduled for Monday, Sept. 9, in Elkridge, and another for Tuesday, Sept. 10, in North Laurel.
Local families can attend the free informational forums to learn their health coverage options and how to enroll.
New changes based on the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare, will begin to take effect Oct. 1.
Monday's event will be held in the cafeteria of Elkridge Elementary School from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday's event is in the Chesapeake multipurpose room of the North Laurel Community Center, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
