A project to replace a water service main on eastbound U.S. Route 40 in Ellicott City is set to begin on Monday, Aug. 19, Howard County officials said.
The construction project, which will replace 6,100 feet of the water main, will require occasional closures of the right lane between Dogwood Drive and Chevrolet Drive. Closures will occur during construction hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.
