A cat has been reported missing after an Ellicott City house fire Thursday displaced four adults and caused $600,000 in damages, according to Howard County fire officials.
A second cat believed to be living in the home has ben found safely, officials said.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., firefighters from Howard and Carroll counties were called to the scene of fire in the 2900 block of Timber Trails Court, according to a news release.
Fire officials say a resident arrived home and saw the fire. It took firefighters 40 minutes to stabilize the blaze, officials said.
No residents were in the house during the time of the fire and officials said there were no injuries.
