Ellicott City
Ponte Vedra Court, 3000 block, 11:45 a.m. Jan. 23. Victim, 14, opened door to friend and eight or nine juveniles, some known to victim. Group entered residence uninvited. One demanded money. One stole snowboard, which was later recovered. No one injured. Three juveniles charged with home invasion, robbery, second-degree assault and theft.
Elkridge/Jessup
Saint Margarets Boulevard, 7400 block, between 4 p.m. Jan. 20 and 8 a.m. Jan. 22. Late reported incident. Entry gained to business by cutting fence and breaking lock. Heater stolen.
Savage/North Laurel
Maier Place, 8900 block, 11:17 a.m. Jan. 25. Entry gained to Tru Green Landcare by cutting lock on entrance gate. Once inside, burglars filled dump truck with several lawn mowers, snow blowers, weed whackers and leaf blowers and left.
