Ellicott City
Baltimore National Pike, 10000 block, between 11:30 p.m. Jan. 9 and 5:30 a.m. Jan. 10. Attempt to pry open front door at Double T Diner unsuccessful. No entry made.
Old Frederick Road, 11600 block, between 10:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Jan. 8. Entry gained to residence through unlocked rear door. Electronics and jewelry stolen.
Main Street, 8600 block, between 1 p.m. Jan. 4 and 12 p.m. Jan. 5. Late reported incident. Entry gained to Metal Works by cutting hole in fence and locks of storage trailer. Unknown if anything stolen.
West Stayman Drive, 9200 block, 9:10 a.m. Jan. 7. Resident reported unknown person opened attached garage. Nothing appeared to be stolen.
Elkridge/Jessup
Washington Boulevard, 9000 block, 2:21 a.m. Jan. 9. Officer observed two men with faces covered exiting convenience store. Two men found with stolen lottery scratch off tickets and cigarettes were arrested. Shaun Marquette Jenkins, 33, of Washington, and Clifton Lee Jenkins, 35, of Washington, charged with second-degree burglary, resisting arrest, and malicious destruction of property.
Washington Boulevard, 6200 block, 8:37 p.m. Jan. 10. Entry gained to Jiffy Lube by breaking rear glass door and stealing change.
Perri Drive, 8300 block, 9:58 p.m. Jan. 6. Several people known to one another involved in dispute. One discharged weapon at two others, who received non-life threatening injuries. Police are investigating whether case is drug-related.
