Dog possibly stolen from Ellicott City home [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. Descriptions of perpetrators are included only when the description makes identification possible.

Ellicott City

Macalpine Road, 3700 block, between 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and 6 a.m. Nov. 22. Late reported incident. Victim taking care of dog while owner was away. Dog discovered missing; may have been stolen. No signs of forced entry.

Elkridge/Jessup

Washington Boulevard, 7800 block, 4 a.m. Nov. 29. Entry gained to Mr. Smoke business by smashing glass front door. Water pipes and liquid smoke stolen from display case.

Washington Boulevard, 6200 block, 3:53 p.m. Nov. 28. Victim was standing outside of motel room when approached by two men, one who had a gun. Both men ordered victim into her room and demanded money. Victim complied and men fled with cash and bottle of prescription medicine.

Huntshire Road, 6500 block, 6:35 p.m. Nov. 24. Man exited Meadowridge Wine and Spirits with unpaid merchandise. When confronted by employee, man assaulted her and fled. No one injured.

Savage/North Laurel

Washington Boulevard, 10100 block, 3:15 p.m. Nov. 26. Employee and man inside Love Craft business and got into argument. Man was asked to leave and refused. Man pushed employee to ground, grabbed money and fled.
