Ellicott City
Baltimore National Pike, 9300 block, 12:48 p.m. June 3. Armed man with face partially covered entered Verizon Wireless through rear door, confronted two employees and demanded their cell phones, stole cell phones from safe. No injuries reported.
Hallowed Stream, 4700 block, 1:04 p.m. June 5. Neighbors saw broken window at vacant house. Investigation found front door frame, rear sliding glass door damaged. No entry made.
Elkridge/Jessup
Old Waterloo Road, 7000 block, 3:12 p.m. June 3 to 4:45 p.m. June 4. Locks pried open at six storage units at Public Storage, nothing taken.
Savage/North Laurel
Washington Boulevard, 9800 block, 5:50 a.m. June 6. Entry gained into Laurel Thrift Store, breaking door handle. Unknown if anything taken.
Palace Hall Drive, 9800 block, 8 p.m. June 7 to 6 a.m. June 8. Numerous vehicles spray painted at senior living apartment complex with white paint. Incident may be related to similar incidents earlier this year; investigation ongoing.
West County
Howard Road, 14000 block, 1:20 p.m. June 2. Home entered, laptop stolen. Neighbor saw man near home. Investigation ongoing.
Shaffers Mill Road, 18000 block, 8 a.m. June 1 to noon June 2. Jewelry stolen from residence; no signs of forced entry.
Frederick Road, 13500 block, 6:29 p.m. June 6. Vacant house broken into, front door kicked in. Chainsaw, hedge trimmer stolen. Unlocked exterior garage entered, air conditioner stolen.
