The Swarovski store in The Mall in Columbia has upped its bling quotient while focusing on a greener initiative.
The location, which first opened in 2006, has gone through a series of updates, making it the company’s first boutique to be submitted for certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation.
In addition to an array of LED lighting, the 1,294-square-foot store will boast a Chrysalis chandelier, white lacquer and mirror stainless steel finishes, and textured walls featuring reflective white prisms to create the illusion of a “crystal forest,” a design concept that debuted in Tokyo in 2008
