Vintage music and games are back in Ellicott City at The Archive

It took nine months to rebuild his collection, but Jason McMillan finally found enough records, classic video games and vintage electronics to stock his store after the flood that struck Ellicott City's Main Street last summer.

The Howard County community is nothing if not engaged. When it came time to cast their ballots in the 2016 Best of Howard readers’ poll, more than 15,000 voters

"It was an uphill battle, literally," McMillan said. "Reopening was a priority to me. I love being the record store on Main Street."

The store buys and sells new and used rock, jazz and soul records — from artists like David Bowie and Smashing Pumpkins — in addition to retro turntables, cassette tapes and more.
