Police identify body found in Columbia's Lake Elkhorn

Howard County Police Thursday identified the body found Tuesday evening in Lake Elkhorn in Columbia as Andrew Nathaniel Austin, 32, of no fixed address.

Police said there were no signs of foul play and that the preliminary autopsy revealed no signs of injury.

Police said they are still awaiting information on a cause of death.

Police said a citizen came upon the body around 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 8 near the 7200 block of Dockside Lane.
