Oakland Mills, Marriotts Ridge and Hammond will compete in the 1A/2A South regional wrestling tournament Feb. 27-28, and four Scorpions – Kyle Farace (106 pounds), Dakota Thompson (120) Julian Capino (126) and Jaron Smith (182) – earned No. 1 seeds.
The tournament will take place at Southern (AA) High School. Wrestlers that place in the top-four of their respective weight classes will qualify for the state tournament scheduled for March 6-7 at University of Maryland's Cole Field House. Here is the full list of seeds:
