Here are closings and openings in Howard County for Veterans Day, Nov. 11:
Closed — Government offices, courts, post office, senior centers, animal shelter, Robinson Nature Center, library system and most banks.
Open — Public schools, trash and recycling services, landfill, county parks and community centers. Howard Transit will operate on a regular weekday schedule, as well as Central Maryland Regional Transit (CMRT). All parking regulations and fees will be in effect.
