The River Hill Village Board is in search of a new member to replace Dipper Wettstein, who has stepped down after three-plus years of service.
The volunteer position will be filled by appointment by the board. Those interested should send letters to the board by Dec. 5. They can be mailed to the River Hill Village Board, 6020 Daybreak Circle, Clarksville, MD 21029 or emailed to manager@villageofriverhill.org.
The board will be conducting interviews Dec. 8 at its regularly scheduled meeting. The term is through April 30, 2016.
Since his election in 2011, Wettstein helped form the River Hill Watershed Committee, served as Chair of the River Hill Garden Center Committee, and provided valuable insight on development matters and issues affecting the broader Columbia community.
