Howard County government offices, courts, senior centers and animal shelter will be closed in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, Jan. 19.
Regular trash and recycling services will be in effect; county parks, community centers and facilities, including the landfill, will be open except for the Robinson Nature Center.
The county's Restored Ellicott City Colored School will be open on Monday, while all other heritage sites are closed for the season and will reopen in April.
