Last week's article about Columbia Association's new membership structure included some incorrect information ("Columbia Association approves condensed memberships," June 9).
We want Package Plan members to know that they will have a five-year phase-in for the cost of AquaFit memberships if they decide to continue on with AquaFit after their membership comes up for renewal. This will be available both to resident and nonresident Package Plan members.
In most cases, the rates for CA's new memberships, which begin in May 2017, will closely mirror the rates for the memberships that are presently being offered. Most members will receive benefits greater than those they received before the transition.
