Soccer
The Soccer Association of Columbia is now registering players for SAC Training Academy Summer Camps scheduled throughout the summer for players of all abilities, ages 5-14. Both full and half-day sessions are offered. SAC also offers extended care from 4 to 6 p.m. for an additional fee.
SAC is now registering players for the Fall 2015/Spring 2016 season for the Clinic, Recreation and High School programs. The leagues are open to players from ages 4-19. Teams meet for eight weeks each season for practices and weekend games. Register before July 15 to receive an early registration discount.
Soccer Association of Columbia will be holding tryouts for the Fall 2015/Spring 2016 season for the Travel and Select Programs beginning May 13. The leagues are open to players from ages 7-18.
The SAC Juniors Program is a fun-filled introduction to soccer. SAC offers six, one-hour weekday or weekend sessions for ages 3-4 throughout the year. Topics include body awareness, agility, balance and ball control.

Summer Camps
The Atholton Athletic Boosters will hold sports camps for basketball, baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling this summer at Atholton High School in Columbia. The summer camps are for boys and girls that are rising third graders through incoming ninth graders. The camps are taught by high school coaches and assisted by current players. Tuition for each camp is $135 and includes an Atholton Raider t-shirt, individual skills testing, specialized instruction from qualified staff members, guest speakers and daily awards. The Glenelg Boosters are sponsoring their Sports Camp 2015 for a variety of sports, including basketball, lacrosse, softball, baseball, football, wrestling, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, speed and agility, and field hockey. Registration is underway for the Hammond Boosters camps. There are 10, week-long camps offered for rising sixth through ninth graders who will be attending Hammond for high school. There are camps for band, baseball, boys basketball, girls basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, boys soccer, girls soccer and volleyball. The Early Bird registration fee, for those who register by May 31, is $135. After that, registration is $155. The Howard Boys' Lacrosse 'Lions' Pride' annual summer camp will be held July 13-16 at Howard High School. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The Oakland Mills High School Baseball camps will be held at Oakland Mills High School in two different sessions. The first is June 29-July 2 and the second is July 27-30. The River Hill Boosters are sponsoring summer camps at River Hill High School. Weekly camps begin June 15 from 9 a.m. to noon or 1-4 p.m. More than 20 different camps are offered, including football, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, cross country, track and field, Allied Sports, cheerleading, weight training, wrestling and dance.
