Registration open for First Tee of Howard County spring session

Spring registration is open for the First Tee of Howard County. These classes are an introduction to playing the game, with an emphasis on learning golf and The First Tee Code of Conduct. The classes are eight weeks and are an hour and a half each. Register online at thefirstteehowardcounty.org.

The Waverly Woods ladies 18-hole golf league is organizing its schedule for the 2015 season. For additional information, call 410-501-3534.

Volleyball

JK Volleyball will be hosting a spring break camp on April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Volleyball House in Elkridge. The camp is for ages 9-14 and costs $45. Sign up online at jkvolleyball.com.

Football

The Columbia Ravens Football Combine will be held on April 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Soccer Stop in Columbia. The event is open to all current fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh grade students. Coaches from the top private and public schools will be in attendance. Cost of the event is $50 per player. Camps

The Glenelg Boosters are sponsoring its Sports Camp 2015 for a variety of sports, including basketball, lacrosse, softball, baseball, football, wrestling, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, speed and agility, and field hockey. Soccer

Soccer Association of Columbia is now registering players for the Spring Break Camp scheduled for the week of March 30 - April 3. Both full- and half-day sessions are offered. SAC also offers extended care from 4-6 p.m. for an additional fee.

SAC is now registering players for School's Out Holiday Clinics in February and April. Sessions that run from 9-12, 1-4 and 9-4 are available.

Registration is underway for the Soccer Association of Columbia spring 2015 clinic season. The league is open to players from ages 4-6. Gender based teams meet for eight weeks on Saturday mornings beginning in April.

SAC is now registering players for the spring 2015 high school recreation season. The High School league is open to players from ages 14-18. Teams meet for eight weeks for practices and weekend games beginning in April.

The SAC Juniors Program is a fun-filled introduction to soccer. SAC offers six, one-hour weekday or weekend sessions for ages 3-4 throughout the year in Howard County. Topics include body awareness, agility, balance and ball control.
