Special Olympics
Special Olympics of Howard County will hold its annual Inspiration Walk on Saturday, April 18 at Centennial Park. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Honorary co-chairmen County Executive Allan Kittleman and State Senator Guy Guzzone will kick off the walk at 9:15. Proceeds from the walk will provide funding for local sports training and athletic competition in 19 sports for over 600 Howard County children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Football and Cheer
Registration is now open for 2015 Indoor and 2015 Fall football and cheer for the Columbia Ravens. Participants ages 5-14 are eligible to register. The organization is also looking for cheer coaches for the upcoming fall season. For more information go to columbiaravens.com.

Basketball

Baseball
Registration for AYRA Spring 2015 baseball is open. Leagues are available for players ages 5-18 and the season runs from April 1 to the end of the school year. AYRA provides a youth baseball program central to the Clarksville, Columbia, Fulton, Maple Lawn, North Laurel, Savage and Simpsonville communities. Visit ayra.com for more details.

Soccer
Registration is underway for the Soccer Association of Columbia spring 2015 clinic season. The league is open to players from ages 4-6. Gender based teams meet for eight weeks on Saturday mornings and focus on skills, teamwork and the basics of soccer beginning in April. Players receive an Under Armour jersey and socks.
SAC is now registering players for the spring 2015 recreation season. The league is open to players from ages 6-14. Teams meet for eight weeks for practices and weekend games beginning in April. Players receive an Under Armour jersey, shorts and socks.
SAC is now registering players for the spring 2015 high school recreation season. The High School league is open to players from ages 14-18. Teams meet for eight weeks for practices and weekend games beginning in April. Players receive an Under Armour jersey, shorts and socks.
SAC is now registering players for School's Out Holiday Clinics in February and April. Sessions that run from 9-12, 1-4 and 9-4 are available.
SAC is now registering players for the Spring Break Camp scheduled for the week of March 30 - April 3. Both full- and half-day sessions are offered. SAC also offers extended care from 4-6 p.m. for an additional fee.
