Gymnastics
Maria Ramsey of Columbia competed at the 2015 USA Gymnastics Level 9 Regional Championship Friday at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. The Oakland Mills freshman placed 1st on Floor (9.45), 2nd in All-Around (36.825), and 3rd on Vault (9.55) and Balance Beam (9.05) in the Senior 2 age group. She also qualified for the USAG Eastern National Championship at the Osceola Convention Center in Kissimee, Fla., May 8-10.
The women's team from Top Flight Gymnastics competed in the Maryland Level 5 Championships on April 11-12.

Level 5: (Junior A): Paige Leitzel: 1. Vault (9.7); 1. Floor (9.5); 2. All-Around (36.825). Nina Cooper: 2. Beam (9.175).
Junior B: Mia Oh: 1. Vault (9.65); 3. Beam (9.4); 3. Floor (9.3); 2. All-Around (37.750).
Senior A: Lauren Madden: 1. Floor (9.425).
Senior B: Kira Oh: 1. Vault (9.525); 1. Bars (9.375); 1. Floor (9.425); 1. All-Around (37.7).
Volleyball
The Columbia Volleyball Club Falcons (12-U) finished second at the CHRVA Regional Qualifiers in Jessup on April 19.
The second-place finish secured the Falcons a bid to the 2015 USAV Girls Junior National Championships in New Orleans June 23-July 2.
