A man was hospitalized after he was stabbed on the Route 29 roadside following a fight with another man, according to Howard County police.
The man, 52, told police he and a woman were driving back to Howard County from Baltimore City in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 25, when he realized he was being followed, police said.
The man said he pulled off of Route 29, near the Route 108 exit, and the car following him did the same, police said.
The man told police he had seen the driver earlier the previous evening, but he did not know him. The pair exited their respective vehicles and fought, police said.
During the fight, the man told police he was stabbed and suffered minor injuries, police said.
The man drove to Howard County Hospital, where he reported the incident to police.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
