Ellicott City
Baltimore National Pike, 9100 block, 5:51 p.m. Sept. 25. Two men entered Home Depot and approached cashier with merchandise. When cashier opened register, one man forced cashier away and took cash, second man took out a gun. Men fled but were arrested. Nelson Sean Taylor Jr., 43, of the 4700 block of Belle Forte Road, in Pikesville; and Kevin Fitzgerald Smith, 50, of 4000 block of Woodmere Avenue, in Baltimore, both charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second- degree assault, use of a firearm in a violent crime and theft.
Baltimore National Pike, 10000 block, 6:44 p.m. Sept. 24. Three people entered Safeway and stole unknown items. Employee confronted them and one suspect assaulted him. Robbers fled. Employee had minor injuries.
Elkridge/Jessup
Old Waterloo Road, 6700 block, 8:01 a.m. Sept. 28. Victim saw man exposing himself in parking lot. Paul Etzel Kustes, 51, of 6700 block of Old Waterloo Road, in Elkridge, charged with indecent exposure.
Deep Run Parkway, 6600 block, between 6 and 10 p.m. Sept. 27. Entry gained to residence by prying door. Jewelry stolen.
Green Field Road, 6200 block, between 9:30 a.m. and noon Sept. 26. Entry gained to three apartments by prying open doors. Jewelry stolen.
Lark Brown Road, 8100 block, 3:14 p.m. Sept. 24. Victim approached man and stole bag.
West County
Birmingham Way, 10800 block, 6:35 p.m. Sept. 27. Two men entered Weis Market, tried to steal baby formula. One man assaulted employee who confronted them. No one injured.
Chelsea Knolls, 18300 block, between 5 p.m. Sept. 19 and 8 a.m. Sept. 22. Entry gained to home under construction through unlocked window. Appliances taken.
