Rustling Leaf Pool, 9200 block, 2:17 p.m. Feb. 26. Building broken into at Hopewell Park. Money stolen from vending machine.
Cloudleap Court, 8700 block, 4:56 p.m. Feb. 25. Rental agent showing vacant apartment saw man inside. No forced entry. Bryce Franklin Churchman, 38, of no fixed address, charged with fourth-degree burglary.
West Columbia
Quiet Times, 6100 block, 8:18 a.m. Feb. 24. Victim heard noise and noticed screen was moved. No entry made.
Llanfair Drive, 6100 block, between 8:21 and 11:45 a.m. Feb. 24. Victim returned home and noticed deadbolt on front door unlocked. Two laptops and several pairs of sneakers stolen.
Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 5:10 a.m. March 2. Member of AMC Theatre cleaning crew reported shots fired toward closed theater. No one injured. Police investigating.
