Columbia man charged with burglarizing neighbor [Crime Log]

Wilde Apple Court, 9000 block, between 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 18. Entry gained to residence through unsecured door. Electronics, jewelry and cash stolen.

Tamar Drive, 8900 block between 7:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Nov. 17. Entry gained to residence through unknown means. Electronics, jewelry and cash stolen. No signs of forced entry.

Dry Well Court, 5000 block, between 8 a.m. Sept. 24 to 4 p.m. Oct. 1. Entry gained to residence by prying open window. Cash and cellphone stolen. On Nov. 13, police charged Benjamin Ross Uhrmacher, 32, of the 500 block of Dry Well Court with first-, second- and fourth-degree burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property. Released on $3,000 bail.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10800 block, between Nov. 19 and 6 a.m. Nov. 20. Late reported incident. Employee of KinderCare reported unknown person entered building and stole food.

Flamewood Drive, 7500 block, between 11 p.m. Nov. 17 and 8:45 a.m. Nov. 18. Entry gained to open garage. Change stolen from three unlocked vehicles.

Martin Drive, 6800 block, between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 17. Entry gained to residence via unlocked rear door. Electronics stolen. No signs of forced entry.
