Multiple Columbia homes burglarized [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. Descriptions of perpetrators are included only when the description makes identification possible.

East Columbia

Dobbin Road, 6600 block, 11:33 p.m. Oct. 25. Entry gained to J&D Jewelry by cutting hole in roof. Nothing reported missing. Store next door also had hole cut in roof.

Sidelong Place, 8900 block, between 7 and 9 p.m. Oct. 23. Entry gained to residence by breaking side door. Laptops and electronic gaming system stolen. No signs of forced entry.

Cradlerock Way, 6600 block, 5:23 p.m. Oct. 23. Victim walking when approached by two women, one man. One woman punched victim and demanded he empty pockets. Victim gave her wallet.

Cradlerock Way, 7200 block, 7:55 p.m. Oct. 21. Victim and three friends were walking when approached by man. Man grabbed victim from behind and tried to steal phone. Victim broke free and all fled. Man found victim later and accosted him. Man stole cellphone.

Majors Lane, 6100 block, between 5:30 and 7:50 p.m. Oct. 20. Object thrown through basement sliding door. Two laptops and jewelry stolen.

West Columbia

Harpers Farm Road, 5400 block, 11:43 p.m. Oct. 23. Entry gained to residence through unlocked rear window. Computer stolen.

Faulkner Ridge Circle, 10600 block, between 12:30 and 8:20 p.m. Oct. 22. Entry gained to residence through basement door. TV, laptop and jewelry stolen. No signs of forced entry.

The Mending Wall, 10000 block, between 5:15 and 8 p.m. Oct. 20. Victim returned home and discovered basement window and door open. Electronics stolen.
