Three men charged in armed robbery at Columbia restaurant

Three men face assault, armed robbery and felony gun charges in connection with the robbery of a man who was held at gunpoint inside the bathroom of a Columbia restaurant.

Anthony Steven Webb, 31, of Spiral Cut, Columbia; Terrell Justin Jones, 24, of Blue Wing Court, Columbia; and Terrell Edward Elliott Jr., 21, of Baltimore, face charges.

According to the charging documents, officers responded to Zapatas inside the Harper's Choice Village Center, in the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road, at 1:10 a.m. Jan. 18 for a reported robbery.

The documents state the victim said he was in the bathroom of the restaurant when a man, who police believe is Jones, put a handgun on the sink.

The man told police that he told Jones "he did not want any trouble," according to the documents. The documents state a second man, who police believe is Webb, was also in the bathroom but left to get a third man, who police identified as Elliott.

Elliott entered the bathroom holding a revolver handgun, according to the documents.

A fifth man, the DJ at the restaurant and a friend of the victim, was also in the bathroom inside the stall, according to the documents.

According to the documents, the men demanded the victim's belongings and valuables. The man said he gave them a Galaxy Note 3 cellphone ($500), a gold bracelet ($200), a gold chain necklace ($300), a Louis Vuitton belt ($700) and $70 in cash.

Then police say an employee entered the bathroom and saw what was taking place. The employee left and told another employee to call police, according to the documents.

All three men fled, police said.

The documents state that Jones and Webb were regulars at the restaurant, and were identified by members of the staff.

Elliott was identified by the DJ, who used Elliott's SoundCloud account to play music that night, according to the documents.

All three are being held in the Howard County Detention Center on $85,000 bail each.
