Howard County police are searching for a man they said robbed the Bank of America in the 8600 block of Guilford Road in Columbia May 8.
According to police, the man entered the bank around 12:53 p.m., approached a teller and passed a note implying a weapon and demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect ran away.
There were other customers inside the bank at the time of the incident, police said. No one was injured.
Police said the man is in his mid 30s, between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing approximately 190 to 200 pound. He has a beard and mustache and he was wearing an Oakland Raiders hat, black frame glasses, a camo shirt and jeans during the robbery.
Police are offering a reward up to $500 and asking anyone with information to call 410-313-STOP.
