Howard County government is holding a series of public community meetings on its master plan for the aging population next week.
Three meetings on Dec. 8 and Dec. 9 have been scheduled: the first is from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at the North Laurel Community Center, 9411 Whiskey Bottom Road; the second is from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Bain Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way, and the third is from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Ellicott City Senior Center, 9401 Frederick Road.
The plan is an initiative designed to address issues facing the aging population in the community. The initiative has thus far included a community survey, a series of focus groups and input from a wide array of stakeholders.
