A two-alarm Columbia apartment fire over the weekend displaced multiple residents, according to Howard County's Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
At approximately 10 p.m. on Aug. 17, firefighters and paramedics responded to an apartment fire in the 5200 block of Rivendell Lane, according to HCDFRS.
First arriving units found heavy smoke and fire coming from the third floor and roof, and it took units approximately one hour to quell the blaze.
Despite damage to multiple apartments, no injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
