The annual Unheard Perspectives Showcase was hosted by the Howard County Public School System elementary social studies office, Black Student Achievement Program, and Gifted and Talented office on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The program, at Hammond Middle School in Laurel, featured students in third through fifth grades who volunteered to learn more about innovators in American history whose perspectives are often underrepresented.
