Howard police offer reward for information in Columbia shooting that injured 15-year-old

Howard County police are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information about an April 6 shooting in Columbia that injured a 15-year-old boy.

Police said Monday they are continuing to investigate the shooting and do not believe the shooting was random.

The shooting occurred in early on the morning of April 6 in the 10400 block of Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia, Howard County police said.

At about 1:55 a.m., April 6, police responded to a parking lot on Hickory Ridge Road where they found a 15-year-old boy with multiple gunshot wounds. The boy was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was considered stable, police said.
