A lucky second-tier winner of Wednesday night's $1 million Powerball drawing purchased their ticket in Columbia, state lottery officials said.
The ticket was purchased at Richburn Discount Liquors, located at 6030 Foreland Garth, officials said.
The next Powerball drawing is Saturday and is worth $80 million.
Two $1 million Powerball tickets were purchased in Maryland earlier this month when the jackpot reached $564 million.
