Visit Howard County modeled its restaurant weeks after ones in New York City, beginning in 2008.

“Our local restaurants not only work to ensure that we have a fantastic quality of life, but they provide a welcoming and inviting ambiance and atmosphere that makes people want to come and enjoy,” Howard County Executive Calvin Ball said in a news release. “From Fulton and Maple Lawn to Columbia and Ellicott City to Savage and Lisbon — you can find something for everyone.”

Clove & Cardamom, an Indian fusion restaurant that opened in Columbia in January 2021, is one of the restaurants that will be featured during the restaurant weeks. Located in the Merriweather District, it features a menu including Asian, Greek, Italian, Mediterranean and Indian cuisines.

“Restaurant week does not only support us to showcase our food and craft beers and cocktails, but it also helps us grow in the community,” Satish Gunisetty, owner of Clove & Cardamom said at a news conference announcing the event.

Customers can enjoy fixed-price meals or bundle-style menus and experiencediverse beverage and meal options from breweries, distilleries and restaurants across the county.

Participating locations are offering unique meals and menus for curbside, in-person dining and to-go options.
