Fall festival

Rockland United Methodist Church hosts its annual Fall Festival featuring a flea market, food, music, games and family activities from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at 8971 Chapel Ave. Information: 410-761-5733.

Art exhibits

•The Howard County Arts Council presents the exhibits "Building Perspectives" by Ashley DuRoss, Lillian Hoover, Robert Tennenbaum, April Rimpo and K. Velis Turan in Gallery I and "Kaleidoscope" by Katie Chen in Gallery II through Friday, Oct. 17, at 8510 High Ridge Road in Ellicott City. Ask the Pharmacist Don Hamilton will provide the latest information on medications at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27. Bring questions, drug lists or prescription containers to discuss concerns.

'Halloween Spooktacular' A baked potato bar lunch and show with musical entertainment by the Grey Legends will begin at noon Friday, Oct. 31. Cost is $15. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
