Seven people were injured Saturday morning in a crash involving five vehicles on Route 175 in Columbia, according to Howard County police.
Two of the people have life-threatening injuries, police said.
The crash happened shortly before noon on the eastbound side of Route 175 near Route 108, according to police. The road remained partially closed Saturday afternoon and police said motorists should expect significant delays in the area.
No information about the cause of the crash was immediately available.
