A Bowie man struck by a co-worker's car in a parking lot in Savage late last week has died as a result of his injuries, Howard County police said Wednesday.

Tsung Ming Huo, 59, died Sunday, Oct. 13, after being struck by a car driven by his co-worker, Mang Khawn Pau, 39, of Laurel, on Friday, Oct. 11 in a parking lot located at the 8600 block of Larkin Road, police said.

The cause of the incident appears to be driver error, according to police, No charges have been filed against Pau, who called 911, but police said an investigation is ongoing.

At 7:20 a.m., Huo was walking in the rain through the empty parking lot toward his place of work when he was struck by a Toyota Camry driven by Pau, who was pulling into the lot.

Huo was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

Police said they learned of Huo’s death Sunday but did not release the news until his family could be notified.
