Woodbine house fire displaces five

A house fire in Woodbine Monday morning displaced five residents, according to the twitter account for Howard County's Department of Fire and Rescue Services. 

Firefighters responded to the 2900 block of Jennings Chapel Road in Woodbine at 8:30 a.m. Monday and observed smoke coming out of the single-family home's attic. 

The fire, which took approximately 40 personnel -- including units from Howard County Police and other jurisdictions -- is expected to cause delays in the area of Jennings Chapel Road near Colton Court. 

The fire department reported no injuries.
