I was very happy to learn that Sen. Allan Kittleman is running for Howard County Executive. He is just the type of person we need leading our county.

Sen. Kittleman has a long history of working for the residents of Howard County on both the County Council and Maryland Senate. It has been over 25 years since we had a County Executive with state legislative experience. With the state mandates that seem to increase with every year, it will be great to have a County Executive who understands state government and how to make sure that we are treated fairly by the state.

I have always voted for the person over the party. I like Sen. Kittleman because he has demonstrated that he puts what is in the best interests of his constituents over what may be best for his political future. His independent leadership is exactly what we need in our county, state and nation. I look forward to voting for Allan Kittleman for County Executive.
