Festival The Orthodox Church of St. Matthew hosts its annual Multi-Cultural Festival at 7271 Eden Brook Drive in Columbia. Event transforms Columbia's Kings Contrivance Interfaith Center into an international destination, featuring live entertainment by ethnic musicians and dancers, food made from family recipes, a wine and beer garden, crafts, a themed children's activity area, guided church tours, icon painting demonstrations, and a silent auction. Open house "A Day in the Life of a Farmer" will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Sharp's at Waterford Farm, 4003 Jennings Chapel Road in Brookeville. Included in the program is a class on beekeeping and farm crops. Everyone gets to feed the animals, go through a mini corn maze, take a hayride, and harvest a pumpkin to take home.
