Bail denied for man accused of killing his twin brother in 2007 in Columbia

A 23-year-old man accused of murdering his twin brother in 2007 in Columbia was denied bail at a brief hearing Monday.

Howard County District Court Judge Neil Edward Axel agreed with county prosecutors' request to keep Wael Gihad Ali in jail to await trial on charges that he killed Wasel Ali, whose body was found along a wooded path, a spokesman for the State's Attorney's Office said.

Ali was extradited last week from Georgia, where he was arrested. He had been living there with his mother.
