The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company presents "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" Friday June 10 through July 24 at Patapsco Female Institute Historic Park, 3691 Sarah's Lane in Ellicott City. Summer camps
Glen Mar United Methodist Church, 4701 New Cut Road, will hold weekly summer day-camp sessions June 27 through Aug. 5 for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. Full-day and half-time sessions are available. Costs range from $145 to $225 per week. Each participating sibling will receive a 5 percent discount. Sessions include "Pioneer Outdoor Camp"; "Mix It Up Camp"; "What's Cooking?"; "Summer Fun and Games"; "Lights, Camera, Action"; "Celebrate"; and "Talent Camp." Soccer
Registration is under way for the Elkridge Youth Organization's fall soccer program for ages 4-18. Games will be played at Rockburn Park and Waterloo Park. There are no tryouts required, and all players will get substantial playing time. Regular registration ends on June 30; late registration ends July 31.
