Art exhibit

"Ascending Through the Darkness," an exhibit of abstract drawings and paintings by Ania Milo, is on display through Feb. 26 in Tai Sophia Institute's Himmelfarb Gallery, 7750 Montpelier Road, Laurel. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Information: 410-888-9048 or tai.edu.

Fun at the library

A "Picture Book Parade!" for ages 2-5 with an adult will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursdays at the Savage branch of the Howard County Library. The program includes a craft. Pajama Time, when children may wear pajamas and bring teddy bears and blankets, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays. The branch is at 9525 Durness Lane in Laurel. Information: 410-880-5980.
