Rep Stage continues its 18th season with "Two by J.M. Barrie: The New Word and The Old Lady Shows Her Medals," through Sunday, Oct. 24, in the Smith Theatre, Horowitz Performing Arts Center, Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway. Art exhibit

Slayton House Gallery will display a two-person exhibit featuring sculptures by John Hayes and screen prints and etchings titled "Full Circle" by Richard Hellman. Exhibit runs Thursday, Oct. 14, through Nov. 13, at 10400 Cross Fox Lane. A reception will held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. English conversation The Central branch of the Howard County Library, 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, offers "Let's Get Together: English Conversation Club." It's a chance for those for whom English is a second language to practice speaking and understanding English in a group setting. The club meets at 9:30 a.m. Mondays and 7:30 p.m. Thursdays.
